Wildflowers - Families |
Plant species are grouped by botanists into "families", based on various characteristics, usually flower structure.
Families consist of plants that are closely related botanically.
Another way this website groups species is by "Group" - species that look alike somehow, but are not necessarily related to each other.
In some cases, a Group of species may overlap a Family, in other cases, not.
Only families that have species on this site are listed. |
